Sunmook Choi (/sʌnˈmʊk tʃɔɪ/), 최선묵 (崔善默)

I am a second-year PhD student in Center for Applied Mathematics (CAM) at Cornell University.

I study control-theoretic machine learning under the supervision of Professor Sarah Dean. My current research is about analyzing regret bounds of bilinear bandit problems. I’m also interested in their application.

I received my B.S. in Mathematics in 2022 and my M.S. in Mathematics in 2024, both from Korea University (KU). At KU, I’d had the pleasure of working with Professor Seungsang Oh in DLmath Lab.
